After having completed his studies as an orchestral trombonist, Markus Leuchter apprenticed as a brass instrument maker with Heribert Glassl in Nauheim, Germany. Glassl's workshop was world-renowned for its alto and baroque trombones.

In 1998 Markus became a master craftsman and established his own workshop in Herzogenrath near Aachen.

He specialises in the production and repair of all brass instruments. His approach in designing or repairing instruments is personalised for each client's requirements.
